[Blessed Henry Suso; XIII-XIV Century AD; born: Uberlingen, Holy Roman Empire/died: Ulm, Holy Roman Empire; (aged 70); Religious, Priest; Mystic; German Dominican Friar] Chapter VII ~ How Lovely God Is The Servant.--Lord, let me reflect on that divine passage, where Thou speakest of Thyself in the Book of Wisdom: "Come over to Me, all ye that desire Me, and be filled with My fruits. I am the Mother of fair love; My Spirit is sweet above honey and the honeycomb. Wine and music rejoice the heart, but the love of wisdom is above them both. (Ecclesiasticus xxiv. 24, 26, 27; xl. 20) Ah, Lord! Thou canst show Thyself so lovely and so tender, that all hearts must needs languish for Thee and endure, for Thy sake, all the misery of tender desire; Thy words of love flow so sweetly out of Thy sweet mouth, and so powerfully affect many hearts in their days of youthful bloom, that perishable love is wholly extinguished in them. O my dear Lord, this it is for which my soul sighs, this it is which …More
"" Now, listen further: I am of high birth, of noble race; I am the Eternal Word of the Fatherly Heart, in which, according to the love-abounding abyss of My natural Sonship in His sole paternity, I possess a gratefulness before His tender eyes in the sweet and bright-flaming love of the Holy Ghost. I am the throne of delight, I am the crown of salvation, My eyes are so clear, My mouth so tender, My cheeks so radiant and blooming, and all My figure so fair and ravishing, yea, and so delicately formed, that if a man were to lie in the glowing furnace till the day of judgment, only to have one single glance at My beauty, he would not deserve it."
" I am in Myself the incomprehensible good, which always was and always is, which never was and never will be uttered. I may indeed give Myself to men's hearts to be felt by them, but no tongue can truly express Me in words. And yet, when I, the Supernatural, immutable good, present Myself to every creature according to its capacity to be susceptible of Me, I bind the sun's splendor,..."
The secret of “70 times 7”… Liturgy for September 13th – 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time Dear brothers and sisters, Jesus’s invitation to always forgive one another—just as His Father forgives—can help us understand how precious we are in the eyes of that Father who loved the world so much that He sent His only begotten Son to save us from eternal damnation and grant us eternal life. Jesus knows that the evil, frailties, and miseries of this life contribute to creating a sort of “invisible prison” around us—one that isolates us and prevents us from communicating with God, living in friendship with others, caring for creation, and knowing our true identity. In this wretched state, having fallen prey to despair, it seems to us that there is no way out. Nevertheless, Jesus knows that if, through the purity of His Love, He succeeds in overcoming the hardness of our pride and penetrate the prison of our hearts, then the desires for life, love, and happiness that God has hidden in the depths of …More

Msgr. Indunil Kankanamalage, Secretary of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue, attended the Tri Hita Karana Universal Reflection Ceremony in Bali. It was “anchored by an interfaith prayer” and included a Bumi Bajra performance featuring a Barong from Ubud Palace and what they called “sacred rhythms.” Barong is a lion-like ceremonial representation of a supernatural protector in Balinese Hindu tradition, closely associated with Balinese religious and ritual life.
Honoring Idol Barong in Bali: The Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue participated in a gathering in Indonesia organized by Scholas Occurrentes and United in Diversity.
An abbey with almost 900 years of history is up for sale in France for around two million euros. Notre-Dame de Langonnet in Brittany was founded in 1136. The estate includes around 5,380 square meters of buildings, set within nearly 58 hectares of woodland, meadows and agricultural land. For centuries, Cistercian monks prayed here and shaped the area around the monastery. After the horrors of the French Revolution, the Spiritans - the congregation whose later superior general was Monsignor Marcel Lefebvre - made Langonnet their home in the 19th century. They remained for nearly 170 years. Generations of missionaries passed through the abbey before leaving for Africa and other parts of the world. Now that chapter is coming to an end. The last Spiritans are leaving, including elderly members of the order who had spent their retirement at Langonnet. The property has reportedly been looking for a buyer for around two years, while attempts to find a future that would preserve its religious …More
Gunther Eagleman™ @GuntherEagleman D.C. spends $32,000 a year on each kid. One high school: 84% chronically absent. Others at 79 and 78. Graduation rates still climb. Reading and math do not. That’s not underfunding. That’s a racket with a diploma printer. Bowser sent parents a 180-day reminder to show up. Jeanine Pirro is talking fines and jail. One of those is a newsletter. The other is a standard. Unions protect the adults. The children get the empty desk and a fake transcript. School choice isn’t a slogan. It’s the exit from a system that already quit. If the building can’t get them in the chair, let the parent pick a school that will.
At my Catholic grade school, the sisters charged my parents $15.00 a month. My high school was $250.00 a year. I Learned a great deal then and would probably have to pay several thousand a year to get the same education.
[Saint Teresa of Avila XVI Century AD; born: Avila, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy/died: Alba de Tormes, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy; Aged 67; Virgin; Doctor of the Church; Mystic; Writer; Reformer] “Chapter II ~ DESCRIBES THE HIDEOUS APPEARANCE OF A SOUL IN MORTAL SIN AS REVEALED BY GOD TO SOME ONE: OFFERS A FEW REMARKS ON SELFKNOWLEDGE: THIS CHAPTER IS USEFUL AS IT CONTAINS SOME POINTS REQUIRING ATTENTION. AN EXPLANATION OF THE MANSIONS. 11. Two advantages are gained by this practice. First, it is clear that white looks far whiter when placed near something black, and on the contrary, black never looks so dark as when seen beside something white. Secondly, our understanding and will become more noble and capable of good in every way when we turn from ourselves to God: it is very injurious never to raise our minds above the mire of our own faults. I described how murky and fetid are the streams that spring from the source of a soul in mortal sin. Thus (although the case is …More
"12. Alas, my daughters, what loss the devil must have caused to many a soul by such thoughts as these! It thinks such ideas and many others of the same sort I could mention arise from humility. This comes from not understanding our own nature; self-knowledge becomes so warped that, unless we take our thoughts off ourselves, I am not surprised that these and many worse fears should threaten us. Therefore I maintain, my daughters, that we should fix our eyes on Christ our only good, and on His saints; there we shall learn true humility, and our minds will be ennobled, so that self-knowledge will not make us base and cowardly."
Tucker Carlson asks why algebra puts letters into numbers. Jess Elofson explains: "I think just to fuck with you." They discuss how they've never met anyone in their life who uses algebra, which is "fake math" for people "in the matrix." They conclude that caring about algebra is something that only "good little goy slaves" do.

I'm surprised he didn't shake hands all the way down the line. Never saw any leader who shakes hands and greets people as he does. Even thakning the Flight Attenders.
The latest Vatican Synod proposals seek to expand the participation of the "People of God“ in the selection of bishops. To understand why this matters, we must look beyond the proposal itself. For the architects of the post-conciliar Church, the expression “People of God” became the foundation for a new way of understanding the relationship between the hierarchy and the faithful. The emphasis is no longer placed primarily upon a divinely established hierarchy that teaches and governs the Church, but upon a community in which all the baptized are increasingly presented as sharing responsibility for determining the Church’s path. This new vision naturally produces synodality. And synodality means that the Church must continually listen, consult, dialogue, discern, and “walk together.” The voice of the clergy is joined to the voice of the laity, while the distinction between those who possess sacred authority and those who are subject to it becomes increasingly blurred. The latest proposals …More
And the sad outcome is that those at top like former PM Justin Trudeau who pushed the experimental shot as being safe and effective have not been held accountable. He should be charged with a crime against Canadians.
Everyone, except for the FSSPX: In a new video message, Leo XIV says we must “walk together” to ensure that “no one is marginalized, isolated, excluded, or rejected.” He tells the youth they must “Be builders of bridges between peoples, cultures and religions.”
"Be sure that you first preach by the way you live. If you do not, people will notice that you say one thing, but live otherwise, and your words will bring only cynical laughter and a derisive shake of the head." -- St. Charles Borromeo
Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” 40 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” 41 So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.
– Folha de S. Paulo, April 26, 1979 – by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira The “most obvious weaknesses of present-day civilization.” What, then, is the conception of man — and of his “conveniences” — proposed by the new current John Paul II alludes to in his address to the Latin American bishops at the opening of the Puebla Conference? The Link Between Atheism and Collectivism Considering the question in general terms, does the new humanism logically lead to a right-wing, centrist, or left-wing position? The message does not say so. In the section on “the truth about man,” it identifies leftism in its various shades as the content of the new humanism, without specifying whether this link stems from the very premises of the system of errors it condemns or from one of those fortuitous coincidences that are not uncommon in history. In my view, this is not a coincidence but a genuine, logical sequence. Those who do not believe in God but only in humanity are led to see the full realization of this …More
"So that the soul that has denied and thrust away from itself the pleasures which come from all these things, and has mortified its desire with respect to them, may be said to be, as it were, in the darkness of night, which is naught else than an emptiness within itself of all things."
[Saint John of the Cross – XVI Century AD; born: Fontiveros, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy/died: Ubeda, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy; (Aged 49); Priest, Mystic, Writer, Doctor of the Church] “BOOK THE FIRST: Wherein is described the nature of dark night and how necessary it is to pass through it to Divine union; and in particular this book describes the dark night of sense, and desire, and the evils which these work in the soul. Chapter III ~ Speaks of the first cause of this night, which is that of the privation of the desire in all things, and gives the reason for which it is called night. WE here describe as night the privation of every kind of pleasure which belongs to the desire; for, even as night is naught but the privation of light, and, consequently, of all objects that can be seen by means of light, whereby the visual faculty remains unoccupied and in darkness, even so likewise the mortification of desire may be called night to the soul. For, when the soul is deprived …More
Toxic indeed. Although, I suspect some of these are, no doubt, 'protected' by some form of governmental legislation and/or contractual arbitration depending upon the 'circumstances'. Unions have largely betrayed their original worthy and essential purposes.
