Final Charge Against David Daleiden Dismissed, Ending Decade-Long Case

The final criminal case against the Catholic pro-life investigator David Daleiden has been dismissed. This ends a nearly decade-long legal battle stemming from his undercover investigation into the abortion industry.
Daleiden released in 2015 a series of undercover videos showing that officials connected to Planned Parenthood Federation of America sold body parts and fetal tissue of aborted babies.
In 2016, the office of then–California Attorney General Kamala Harris (2011-2017) prosecuted Daleiden and his colleague Sandra Merritt related to illegal recording (invasion of privacy).
She did not prosecute Planned Parenthood.
Over time, more than half of the charges were dismissed by a judge.
Instead of going to trial on the remaining charges, David Daleiden agreed in 2025 to the deal “no contest” (nolo contendere) . It allows a defendant to resolve a criminal case without admitting guilt while accepting the court’s judgment. The agreement included no jail time, fines, or probation, …More

The Boatman’s Lesson
A ferryman was taking a man across the river. The passenger noticed words carved into the oars: one read “Think,” the other “Act.”
“Why do you have those?” he asked.
Without answering, the ferryman began rowing with the “Think” oar alone. The boat spun in circles.
“I used to spend all my time thinking,” he said calmly. “Planning, analyzing… but never moving forward. Just like this.”
Then he switched and rowed only with the “Act” oar. The boat spun the other way, still going nowhere.
“Then I tried the opposite—jumping into action without thinking. I burned energy, stayed busy… but got nowhere.”
Finally, he took both oars and rowed together. The boat moved straight ahead, steady and smooth.
“That’s when I understood,” he said. “Thought without action keeps you stuck. Action without thought does the same. Only together do they move you forward.”
As they approached the shore, the passenger noticed a beautiful house nearby.
“I built that,” the ferryman added …More

Servant Of Divine Mercy

First Day, GOOD FRIDAY:
Today bring to Me ALL MANKIND, ESPECIALLY ALL SINNERS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me.

Day 1: The Divine Mercy Novena

In the Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, Jesus asked that the Feast of Divine Mercy, known today as Divine Mercy Sunday, be preceded by a Novena to The Divine Mercy. A Novena is nine days of prayer in preparation for a feast. In the case of the Novena to Divine Mercy, we pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy each day for a specific intention. Those intentions are: all mankind, especially sinners; the souls of priests and religious; all devout and faithful souls; those who do not believe in God and those who do not yet know Jesus; the souls who have separated themselves from the Church; the meek and humble souls and the souls of little children; the souls who especially venerate and glorify His mercy; the souls detained in purgatory; and souls who have become lukewarm.
Our Lord told St. Faustina, "I desire that during these nine days you bring souls to the fountain of My mercy, that they may draw ... strength and refreshment and whatever grace they need in the hardships of life, and …

Disgusting

"We have damaged the liturgy," said Cardinal Robert Sarah in a video interview with Le Figaro Idées (April 2). "It is too noisy. Too noisy. As if we were celebrating ourselves." He warned against reducing worship to mere "conviviality", insisting that a more sober liturgy celebrates the greatness of God. Cardinal Sarah also said: "Today, we practically never speak about salvation," and cautioned that "if the Church does not speak about the soul and what will happen to it after death, then it fails in its mission."

«L’Église a abimé la liturgie de la messe. Elle est trop bruyante ! C’est comme si on se célébrait nous-même. C’est devenu un moment convivial, alors que nous sommes là pour adorer Dieu, il faut une liturgie qui adore Dieu. On ne parle plus du salut et de l’âme !», se désole le cardinal Robert Sarah dans Le Club Le Figaro

This is why doctors don’t learn about real nourishment, food or natural healing in medical school. They cannot charge you for more sunlight, natural foods or daily movement. It’s not called health school because doctors don’t actually learn how to heal. When they graduate they don’t really understand the truth about our bodies, disease or healing. And the sooner you realize the truth about the medical system and all of the manipulation they have pushed on the public, the sooner you will actually obtain optimal health. The one thing they don’t want you to know is how powerful you actually are. They don’t want you to know that your body is always working in service of healing and you don’t need expensive interventions to heal. A couple moved into a new apartment.
One morning, just after waking up, the wife glanced out the window and saw their neighbor hanging laundry outside.
“Look at that,” she said. “Her laundry is still dirty.”
Her husband kept reading his newspaper and didn’t respond.
“Maybe she’s using cheap detergent,” the wife continued. “Or maybe she just doesn’t know how to do laundry properly. Someone should really teach her.”
And every time the neighbor hung clothes out to dry, the wife would comment on how “dirty” they looked.
Then one morning, she looked out the window and exclaimed,
“Oh wow! Her laundry is finally clean! Looks like she learned how to wash properly after all!”
Her husband calmly replied, “Actually, I got up early today and cleaned our window.”
That’s how it is in life.
What we see often depends on the window we’re looking through.
And before we rush to judge others, it’s worth making sure our own perspective—and our own heart—is clear.

Jesus' crucifixion on Good Friday has made our death a passing into new life - LifeSite

Fri Apr 3, 2026 - 12:01 am EDTThu Apr 2, 2026 - 12:49 pm EDT
(
LifeSiteNews) — The sun has risen upon Jerusalem. But the priests and scribes have not waited all this time without venting their anger upon Jesus.
Annas, who was the first to receive the divine captive, has had Him taken to his son-in-law Caiphas, the high priest. Here He is put through a series of insulting questions, which disdaining to answer, He receives a blow from one of the high priest’s servants. False witnesses had been already prepared: they now come forward, and depose their lies against Him who is the very Truth – but their testimony is contradictory.
Then, Caiphas, seeing that this plan for convicting Jesus of blasphemy is only serving to expose his accomplices, turns to another. He asks Him a question, which will oblige our Lord to make an answer; and in this answer, he, Caiphas, will discover blasphemy, and blasphemy would bring Jesus under the power of the synagogue.
This is the question: “I adjure Thee, …

THE MYSTERIES OF THE ROSARY
Fifth Mystery of Light: The institution of the Eucharist.
In the Fifth Luminous Mystery, “By celebrating the Last Supper with His Apostles in the course of the Passover meal, Jesus gave the Jewish Passover its definitive meaning. Jesus' passing over to His Father by His Death and Resurrection, the new Passover, is anticipated in the Supper and celebrated in the Eucharist, which fulfils the Jewish Passover and anticipates the final Passover of the Church in the glory of the Kingdom".

In a quiet mountain valley, there lived an old man whose only possession was a magnificent white horse.
The animal was so graceful and powerful that it seemed almost unreal. Kings and wealthy nobles sent messengers offering fortunes in gold for it, but the old man always refused.
“This horse isn’t my property,” he would say. “He’s my friend. And you don’t sell a friend.”
One cold, foggy morning, the stable was empty.
The horse was gone.
The villagers gathered at the old man’s home, shaking their heads.
“You fool!” they said. “We told you to sell that horse while you had the chance. Now you’ve lost everything—no money, no horse. What a terrible misfortune!”
The old man listened calmly and replied,
“Don’t go so far with your judgments. Just say the horse is gone—that’s a fact. Everything else is interpretation. Whether it’s a misfortune or a blessing, I don’t know. I only see a small piece of the picture. Who knows what comes next?”
The villagers laughed, convinced he had lost …More

He could have retired to a mansion.
Instead, he bought 6 tons of beef, 7,000 cakes, and 8,700 bricks of ice cream — and invited every man, woman, and child in three counties to come eat for free.
His name was Edgar Byram Davis, and his story is one of the most extraordinary acts of generosity in American history.
Davis grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts. He worked his way up from the shoe business to become a wealthy rubber industry investor. Then, at 46 years old, he followed his brother to a small, struggling farming town in Texas called Luling — where geologists had unanimously declared there was no oil worth finding.
He drilled anyway.
Six wells. All dry. His company sank into debt so deep that his phone was disconnected and the bank wouldn't cash a seven-dollar check. Most men would have walked away.
Davis drilled a seventh well.
On August 9, 1922, Rafael Rios No. 1 exploded 200 feet into the sky. Within two years, the Luling field was producing 43,000 barrels of oil per day. A …More

A Good Friday Reflection on the Chastisement | The Fatima Center

“Woman, behold Thy son … Behold thy Mother.” (John 19:26-27)
Dying on the Cross on that first Good Friday, Our suffering Savior gave His beloved disciple, St. John, into the care of His Blessed Mother (“Woman, behold Thy son”), and then He gave His Mother into the care of His disciple (“Behold thy Mother”). The Catholic Church teaches that, at that moment, St. John was representing every faithful disciple.

The Blessed Virgin Mary Is Our Mother
Father Nicholas Gruner, in a speech given at The Fatima Center’s Fatima: The Last Chance for World Peace conference in October 2006,[1] explained how these words of Our Lord relate to the Message of Fatima. It pertains to the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima to the seer Lucia in 1925.
On December 10, 1925, when Lucia was a postulant at the Dorothean Sisters’ convent in Pontevedra, Spain, Our Lady came, as She promised in 1917, with the Child Jesus to reveal the first …

Canadian Miriam Lancaster, 84, went to a hospital in Vancouver late March with severe back pain. She told EWTN that before any tests or diagnosis, a doctor offered assisted suicide: “The very first thing she said to me was: ‘I would like to offer you MAiD.’” She had come for treatment and responded: “No, thank you.” Lancaster added that her husband had previously been told the same and had replied: “There is no way that we are going to take measures to end our life. That is in the hands of the Lord.” A few years later she gave the same response.

When Miriam Lancaster went to the hospital for severe back pain, she was stunned to be offered euthanasia instead of real care. In this conversation, she shares how that moment exposed a terrifying shift in our culture: suffering patients are being treated as problems to “solve,” not persons to love. She says, her husband had also been offered assisted su*cide a few years earlier as well. From a Catholic perspective, Miriam’s story is a stark reminder that every life—especially when it’s fragile, disabled, or in pain—is precious, unrepeatable, and entrusted to us by God, not the state or the medical system. Her witness challenges us to build a society that offers compassion, accompaniment, and authentic palliative care, never a lethal injection disguised as “dignity.”

UK £1B Pandemic Plan Builds Big Tech Tracking System

Britain’s new £1 billion ($1.3m) pandemic strategy treats a future outbreak as a “certainty” and proposes building a contact tracing system that would feed on real-time location data harvested with the help of Silicon Valley’s biggest companies.
The plan, published by the Department of Health and Social Care, also calls for PPE stockpiles, new emergency legislation, and a biosecurity research hub in Essex.
But the centerpiece that deserves the most scrutiny is the contact tracing proposal, which would create a surveillance architecture designed to track the movements of millions of people, ready to switch on at a moment’s notice.
The UKHSA will run the new system, which the strategy
document says will use “live location data” and artificial intelligence to provide “a more rapid, large-scale detection and alert system during pandemics.”
